Progressing in our career took over, working long hours then going out at the weekend to blow off steam. Takeaways start to creep in during the week because you are knackered and can’t be arsed cooking.
The problem? The gym slowly starts to fade away. You don’t look the way you used too and mentally you feel all over the place. You know you should be doing better but don’t have the motivation and feel lazier than ever.
You have tried that many times to get back into it that you don’t want to start again. You are fed up starting over and only lasting a couple of weeks.
You get roped into one night out and everything snow balls from there.
What changed for us?
We hit rock bottom!
Careers where stalling, every week was a struggle, we looked a shadow of our former selves and knew we needed to sort our heads out.
Fast forward 18 months and we have managed to build a gym from scratch, run marathons, compete in powerlifting competitions, get a flat stomach again but more importantly feel like we are in control again.
Weeks aren’t spent just hoping for the weekend to come again.
We fully understand how easy it is to get roped into drinking and taking drugs most weekends and feeling down on yourself and we want to help as many guys as possible break the cycle.
